The Environmental Justice Freedom School Community Fair is a celebration of learning, collaboration, and community action through the past four years. Hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation, this special event brings together Environmental Justice (EJ) Freedom School students, educators, families, and community partners to reflect on the program’s impact, celebrate accomplishments, and envision the future of environmental justice education in Chicago.
This event will bring together students, parents, community organizations, educators, elected officials and others who want to make sure that returning students have all that they need to make sure the upcoming school year is filled with the joy of learning.
Do you have kids who need school supplies like notebooks and pens? A book bag? Their required vaccinations? A haircut? Let us know that you’ll be attending and what supplies and services you might be interested in, and we’ll do our best to have it available for you at the event.
