IAAM 2017
Earlier this year, McCaffery Interests Group awarded the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation a grant for its pilot program, Instructors Apprenticeship for Advanced Manufacturing (IAAM). It is with tremendous excitement to announce that the first cohort of 9 successfully completed the program late Fall 2017.
These nine instructors:
- earned over 75 Illinois State Board of Education professional development hours from the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation Quest Center for Professional Learning,
- completed over 200 hours of technical training administered by Manufacturing Renaissance and as a cohort,
- attained over 30 advanced manufacturing certificates from the National Institute in Metalworking Skills.
